About San Diego Brush Whackers

San Diego Brush Whackers, founded in 1976, is an affiliated chapter of "The Society of Decorative Painters" (SDP). Our members share a passion for painting and have an interest in the growth of tole and decorative arts. You must join SDP to become a member of our chapter. As a member of Brush Whackers, you will have the opportunity to learn new painting techniques and art forms by participating in our monthly "paint-ins". The classes are taught by both local and national artists. The class projects are tailored to fit the diverse interests and different skill levels of our members.

Whether you're a novice or an accomplished decorative painter, you will find Brush Whackers to be a great place for learning and building friendships with other San Diego area artists.
